I love Zumba Dance Class!!!

Tonight I went to a new workout class at the gym and loved it. It was called Zumba. Anyone ever been to one before?? At first I was trying to learn the steps and not laugh at myself for messing up but in the end it was a great workout. I burned about 400 calories which is great since I had pizza for lunch. If anyone out there has a chance to take a Zumba please do because it's a ton of fun. You won't believe how fast an hour can go by. I felt like I was back in my high school dance class all over again. So go out there and get your groove on!!

1. I love having my own place!!! It's super fun to decorate it but it's hard to stay with my budget.

2. I love my job being a nanny. It's soo much fun to spend my days with Finn! He is such a joy as well as his wonderful parents. I couldn't ask for better employers. Also this job is soo flexible, not sure if I could do a desk job from 8-5 everyday.

3. I think Weight Watchers is amazing!! I have lost almost 16 lbs since January. It's once of the only programs that is a life style change not a DIET. I hate that word!!

4. I love Larry North Gym!! There are soo many fun classes to take and a tons of workout equipment so I don't have to wait for one to become available.

5. I am very into reality tv: the Bachelorette, Moving Up, What Not To Wear, Trading Spaces, John and Kate Plus 8, and Biggest Loser. It's kinda out of control but that's why you have a DVR.

6. I am in the process of reorganizing my closet and trying to get rid of the clothes that I don't wear anymore. It's hard to do but I know that in the end I will be better off.

What a deal!!!

This is for all you Dallas folks! I just love watermelons as many of you know. Living by myself I didn't want to buy a huge watermelon. I went to Sprouts Farmers Market on Marsh and Forest Ln. and found a decent size watermelon for $1.99. I was so excited to find this great deal that I thought that I'd share it with you. I think that there are other Sprouts throughout Dallas so definitely check it out.

Fun Times On Vacation!!

Awww yes I finally had a vacation that was longer than 3 days!! It was great to have some time off and get away from Dallas. The vacation started with having my parents come to visit for Memorial Day. We had such a blast! We did a little estate sale shopping on Sunday and I found a cute table to put my tv on. When we went on Sunday the tv table was on sale at 35% off. I thought that was a super deal, but I wasn't sure it was worth the price. i decided to wait and come back then next day when it would be 50% off and if was still there then I would get it. Well we went back first thing in the morning and there it was. Yea go me!!! The only bummer was to find that my battery wouldn't start on Monday so we had to head to Sam's. While we were there we found the new Hungry Girl book for $11! What a steal!

On Tuesday I went to visit my friend Jeri who has recently to Austin. We had soo much fun catching up, playing with her son Owen, and painting his room. Painting can be fun but it's hard work too. Owen is such a good baby!! He just loved to do his new tricks like roll over and suck on his toes. Here's a few pics of the cutie!




Friday one of my best friends Angela and her fiance Ryan came into town along with her parents for the weekend. It was soo fun to have them here. While they were here we got to see The Sex and the City movie. It was soo good! Here are some pics from the weekend!!
