I'm an Aunt again!!

Yes, by now most of you know that my bff Brittany and Mike had their precious little Carolina last Friday afternoon. Mike called me as I was driving to the airport and said that she had been born, of course I thought he was joking since he loves to play jokes on me. But this time it was for real. I was overjoyed for them! I'm soo glad that Brittany and Carolina are healthy and at home resting. When I saw Carolina for the first time I just couldn't take my eyes off her, she's just beautiful. She has a head full of dark black hair, the prettiest skin coloring, and such sweet eyes. Watch out Mike the boys will be lining up to sit next to her in the nursery during bible class.:) I'll post a few pics later.

My Fall Favorites

Hey everyone!!! Here's some things that are my fall favs.

~ I just love love Skinny Vanilla Lattes from Startbucks:) If I haven't had my caffiene fix by 10 then I will grab some Starbucks to get me through the day.

~ I am in love with a new nail color. OPI has some new fall colors and the one that I like is Black Cherry Chutney. It's a deep dark purple and really fun for fall.

~ I have 2 fun purses that are my fall staple. They are a pretty dark blue and a ruby red patent leather bag. Marshall's has some really fun bags for the fall. Yall should check them out.

~ Swoozie's has planners that I love. There's a lot to choose from which makes the decision hard. I can't believe that it's already that time again to get a new planner for 2009. Yikes!! They have a fun leopard print one that I'm wanting to get once the 09's are in.

~ I have been reading The Shack and it's an amazing book. I definitely think yall should read it. I can't put it down.

Happy Fall everyone!!!

Cold & Rainy Days

It's days like today when the weather makes the park not an option. If you guys have kiddos here are some fun options that Froggie and I have done.

~ Take your cars out of the garage and let the kids ride their bikes around an obsticle course. Or you can play indoor soccer or golf. Anything to burn some energy.:)

~ Froggie is really loving all the Halloween decorations in the neighborhood. Everyday after school we drive around different streets looking at the houses and how spooky they are.

~ Froggie has also liked doing scavenger hunts around the house. When he gets to the prize then he wants to create another one.

These are just a few that we've been doing lately. Have fun! If you have any suggestions please leave a comment.:)

I'm 28!!!

On Monday I turned 28. Wow do I feel old!! I had a fun day at work with my little Froggie. When I got to work the first thing that he wanted was for me to open my presents from him. I told him that I would open them when we went to dinner with Mommy and Daddy so he was really patient all day. While he was at school I went to visit my bff Brittany in the hospital. She is preggo and due in Nov. with Carolina. She hadn't been feeling well and went to the hospital on Saturday and they admitted her. Well I went to visit her and got to spend time with Mike and Clay too.

Auntie Rebecca and Clay

Later Froggie, his parents, and I went to dinner at Penne Pomodero for my birthday. They have fabulous italian food and great wine. Froggie was patient while we got our drinks and then I opened the card. It was priceless the look on his face when I heard the song playing from the card. It was that song from Toy Story...You've Got a Friend in Me. It just melted my heart. He picked it out all my himself. Froggie waited patiently while we ordered and then I opened the rest of my gift. I got a gift card to my favorite store Ann Taylor Loft and some bath stuff from Lush. We also got some yummy molten chocolate cake with strawberry sorbet. I had a super birthday and now that Brittany is home from the hospital we can celebrate too. More pics will follow.

While Brittany was on bed rest in the hospital, my Aunt duties came into play which was soo fun. Every time we hang out is very special. Clay and I decided to do a little art project for his Mommy and Daddy. This is what a 17 month old likes to do with markers...

Needless to say Clay had a bath after our art project. We had a blast hanging out but I know he missed his Mommy a lot!!!
